How we test and recommend

Recommendations on GolfSim.net come from three places, and we tell you which one applies in every article:

• Hands-on use. Gear we own or have played on directly.
• Data we maintain. Our price tracker and our launch monitor compatibility research — specs, subscription fees, and software support verified against manufacturer documentation and rechecked when vendors change terms.
• Community evidence. Aggregated, attributed experiences from the golf sim community (forums, Reddit, Discord) — always labeled as such, never presented as our own testing.

Affiliate commissions never determine what we recommend. Where two retailers carry the same product, we may prefer linking the one that supports the site — the recommendation itself doesn't change. See ouraffiliate disclosure.
